I would like to go to an event in London tomorrow. I will be travelling 3.5 hours to get there. Thing is, I have a commitment on sunday which means by the time I start travelling I will only have 3.5 hours till the event starts.

So its really tight timing.

I am also quite an anxious driver and not used at all to driving in big cities. I am also quite good at getting lost, even with a satnav. What is driving in London like? Is it confusing and terrifying?

I really want to go to this event but worried I will travel all that way and just end up missing it anyway.

@Takenwithtea

you have the option of moving out of a big city.

We shouldn't be forced from our homes,our communities and everything we've grown up with and know due to dangerous levels of pollution.

And no, those of us who are not rich do not have that option. Don't make up spiteful lies.

A bit like a mosh pit but in cars. With lots of beeping and traffic lights.

Use JustPark and park in Ealing Broadway, then get the Elizabeth line in. I spent six years driving around central London, I knew it like the back of my hand but it’s still hard work and not for the faint hearted!

Three and a half hours Cardiff to The Strand, can't be done IMO. You've forgotten to factor in delays on the M4. I'm in Newbury and I allow 2 hours to get from here to Central London (Drury Lane) when I drive in.

Congestion charge and lots of cameras and risk of fines!
