Ideas to raise some money quick (not Vinted!)

I'm unwell currently so working overtime isn't an option nor is selling as I've sold literally all my clutter in the summer as it was driving me mad
I need to raise about 200 pounds for Christmas to make it a bit less tight but I'm stumped apart from the usual ideas- anyone got anything that could help me? Thanks

I know you said you'd decluttered, but if you have old CDs or books or DVDs lying around then try selling them on webuybooks or ziffit?

Does your bank offer round ups on card payments? While it won't make you £200, you could save £10/£20 between now and Xmas without really realising. All the little things add up. I've made £20 since last month and I don't even use my debit card that much.

Sign up to market research agencies

Yes to this. I've made £33 in the last 2 weeks on an app filling out paid surveys, whilst Sat on the toilet sofa.

Is the £200 for kids Christmas presents?

If so could you get an Argos card, stick it on there and pay back a bit each month.

Ask family/friends?
Bank loan/overdraft?
Sell stuff?

You'll get the usual responses to the usual question: match betting, baking, bank switches, ironing etc.

But, your OP says you don't want to work more (no overtime) and you don't want to sell. So, I'm not sure what you expect people to suggest, unless you're hoping someone has a golden goose they can offer you.

Getting into £200 debt for Xmas isn't the end of the world and saves you a lot of hassle. Look for a credit card offering an interest-free period and then you can pay it back in 2024 with very little stress.

There have been many suggestions that don't involve overtime selling stuff and golden geese thanks 😊

If you’re not too attached to your bank, you could take advantage of one of the current account switching bonuses?
Some banks are offering £175/ £200 incentive to switch your account to them. I’m contemplating doing it myself. I think you usually get the money within a couple of weeks if you meet all the criteria.

Switch your bank account. That’s the quickest and easiest way to get £200 or thereabouts.

But honestly, if you have no money for Christmas, just tell everyone that.

Are you budgeting OK otherwise? Next year try to set aside a bit a month.

Had to blow my saving this year on a new boiler sadly so that should be good for at least another ten years
