I can’t afford the Fujifilm Instax which gets very good reviews. Does anyone know of an easy to use one with adequate print quality that doesn’t break/jam after a few uses. My absolute max budget is £50. TIA

My niece has this one, and the photos that I've seen printed from it are pretty decent (for a children's camera, obviously they're not super high quality and do only print in black and white but she enjoys colouring the photographs in). From the looks of it the camera also saves a coloured version of the photo onto it too. I haven't seen it used myself so don't know how simple it is to use.

Thanks xmasdealhunter. I’ll go check this one out. Definitely within budget.

No problem. It might also be worth while popping onto the Christmas thread and seeing if anyone knows if the Instax is likely to come down in price on black Friday, you might find it gets reduced to £50 or thereabouts.

Yep, get one of the thermal print cameras for 40-50 quid. They're great fun, and the paper rolls mean it's a penny or two per print.

The pictures fade with time (and heat affects them too), but months are a lot longer when you're in primary school, and the pictures are also on the SD card anyway.

All the other instant print cameras - Polaroid, Instax, Zink, dye sublimation - cost 50p or £1 per print.

Whereas the thermal print ones you're quite happy to tear off a print and give it to someone!

Thanks so much xmasdealhunter and paperbagsaremine. I’ll look at the Christmas thread ( I’ve not been on there before) . Thermal print camera sounds interesting. Not something I’ve heard of so I’ll definitely look at those too.
