Board games for older teens/young adults that can be played in 30mins with 2 players

I'd appreciate your suggestions please. They need to work well for 2 players in a shortish space of time, 30 to 40 minutes. So far I have Bananagrams, Scrable and Quirkle.

My friend has a mancala set. Her teens and their mates love it. Games can be about 10 minutes so 30 minutes could have a best of three mini tournament.
