I have posted before. But Jesus thus us getting me down. I'm in my 40s, single parent, work, underactive thyroid, anaemia, high BP Just had covid and still suffering. Had 2 weeks off work.

Finally (taken months) had a blood test yesterday so at least I'll know next week if my meds need adjusting

But I am on my knees. I already was then covid. I can't breathe properly once I lay down, abd keep snoring myself awake. So so tired, but can't stay asleep.

I'm overweight. I KNOW this is key. But I am so bogged down I don't seem to be able to do anything about it. My house is cluttered. Garden needs doing. So many things. I'm behind on everything.

I just have one reason after another - reason or excuse I don't know.

People say give yourself a break, you've got a lot on. But I've had a lot onfor 6 yrs . I just need to do it. But how??

A day at a time, and a step at a time. Start by walking. And remember that you might be peri too.

Hi OP, can you make a list of the most important tasks that need to be done, and see what can be outsourced? Sometimes you just need to throw money at the situation.

For example getting a cleaner once a week, I know it seems like an expense but it might only work out at 20 pounds a week or something and could really help you get on top of things.

Also shopping online - are you able to switch the weekly shop to an online delivery? Make a list of quick and easy weeknight dinners - omlettes, baked potato and fillings, pizza - just things you can fall back on when you are too tired to cook properly.

Ignore the garden, you can do that in the spring.

What age is your child? Are they old enough to do a few chores for pocket money?

As for your tiredness, are you taking supplements? Vitamin D, Vitamin B12? These can help.

Dc are 6 and 8. They're getting better at helping out.

Sadly, I dont have the money to throw at it. Used to have a cleaner for £20 a week, it did help a lot. Finances will be more stable once divorced but currently saving every £ for solicitors

I posted about supplements recently. I have started taking menopace (just in case!) And will hold off anything else til my blood results are back

I already shop online mostly.

My big issue really, is not keeping on top if stuff. For example, I do the washing, but don't put it away. I bring bags in from a day out, dobt sort them out. I have just emptied a bag of unworn clothes that we took away at half term. We've been back a fortnight.

I feel crap, eat crap, gain weight, no energy.
