Anxiety books

Can anyone recommend a good book to help with anxiety? Maybe a mix of cognitive and self care strategies and boundaries? Or just ways of getting out an anxiety pause phase when I actually can't let it go on for weeks.

Audible preferably.

You should look up Dennis Semsick "The Anxiety Guy". He has an array of books/ YouTube videos. He's brilliant, books come on audiable too

i found both of these helpful - The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*k: The bestselling book everyone is talking about (A No Fcks Given Guide) https://amzn.eu/d/3qEI29K and The Chimp Paradox: The Acclaimed Mind Management Programme to Help You Achieve Success, Confidence and Happiness https://amzn.eu/d/9CWjoQQ

High Five Habit by Mel Robbins is a good one. Not specifically about anxiety but about kind and encouraging to yourself. It's also a quick and easy read.

Self help for your nerves by Dr Claire Weekes. It's actually very old but but helped me so much. Can't recommend it highly enough

I would second the Dr Claire Weekes recommendation above. The principles really helped me.

(Disclaimer that I don't think he is any way qualified), but I would also recommend the book 'At last a life' by Paul David. He has a website called Anxiety No More as well. Take a look at the panic attack section...his strategy on accepting and embracing your symptoms instead of trying to fight them is what cured my anxiety (and is actually similar in principle to Claire Weekes).

ETA...I'm no expert on what form your anxiety takes. For me it was a constant feeling of unease, which led to physical symptoms despite not having anything to actually be worried about.
