Tooth pain

I broke my tooth ages ago and stupidly ignored it. Now it's in pain, tried salt water wash etc but still in pain- I don't have a dentist. I work 3 days Monday to Wednesday wondering if I ring tomorrow either 111 or a private dentist whether anyone would see me ny Thursday? Trying not to be off as had covid a few weeks ago and was off.

Get Orajel a.s.a.p to temporarily treat the pain - ordinary strength or there is an extra strength if you think that's needed.

Here's where sells the normal strength Orajel:

The extra strength seems to be sold at Boots and Superdrug so might be harder to get hold of:

I don't know about getting a dentist, tbh. I suppose you'll just have to try 111 and also phoning private dentists if you can afford it.

You might be able to get an emergency dentist to give it a temporary filling or take it out. It happened to my friend recently, she paid the normal NHS rate which was about £63 I think but had to travel quite far to it.

Try and preserve the natural tooth via root canal if at all possible. It's really important to try and keep your natural teeth. Removing them might solve the pain in the short term, but what about eating, the effect on your bite and the cost of replacing with an implant which can be thousands? Not to mention creating an ugly smile.
