Reapparance of DS's coat - spooky??

DS lost his coat on the Thursday before half term. He definitely went to school with it in the morning and came back without it. There's even a video of him wearing it because he was recording a message before he went to school for DMIL who was in hospital.

He insisted it was at home so just in case I searched the house and there was no sign of it. Yesterday, I gave in bought him another and thought if it comes back we'll have a spare..

This morning the dog woke me howling at 4am.. she seemed really upset. and almost never howls.. and the flipping coat was folded up very neatly right in the middle of the sofa. It certainly wasn't there when I went to bed I'd have noticed.. There's no way DS found it and put it there since he never folds anything and anyway he'd just have told me as he knows I'd have been pleased. Anyway he was fast asleep when I looked in. DD was out staying at a friends and DP was in bed. and never folds anything much either .. and I doubt it was the dog .. or the cats...

Spooky? Or a logical explanation?

I had this with the kids switches! They had played them, put them on to charge and went to bed. Next day came home from school and they were gone. I'm the only adult in the house. I hadn't touched them. We turned the place upside down looking for them and nothing. Over 3 weeks later I come home from school drop off and there for all to see, on in the sofa and one on the arm chair are the switches. Now I have blankets on the sofas which I take off and fluff up every night and wash weekly. Also my DD was sitting on the arm chair exactly where her switch then appeared and my ds exactly where his appeared having breakfast before school. They would have been yelling about finding them if they had been there. They definitely weren't there and then I come back and right square in the middle of the seats .... There they are.... They didn't get there by themselves and I have zero idea how they got there or where they were for weeks. Needless to say I was freaked out. Still don't know what happened.
