She's mottled all over her back with scars I think the spots are mostly not raised but the stain for want of a better word is there.
On her face it's rough and raised, not many angry spots but she's got forehead all raised etc and spots on her face.

Is there anything else we can do.... Or ask doc for

Try this for her face I know it's really expensive but really help DD, the toner was recommended by the nurse at our doctors.

She has also gone onto.the combined pill, it needs to be Dianette. Ia seed specifically for this one as it really helped my back acne when younger. Has helped DD to.

@HappiDaze I might have said that about roaccutane thirty years ago as it worked really well for me. Dd has had some success with it too, but it took a long time to work and she still gets spots 5 years after finishing her two courses. It hasn't been a wonder drug at all for ds unfortunately. He really struggled whilst on it, with migraines and bad back ache (which has persisted two years after coming off it) and he had several nosebleeds every day/night which disrupted his sleep and took him out of lessons in his GCSE year. The acne disappeared for all of about 2 months and now it's back as bad as ever. So it's not a wonder drug for everyone and I'm on a facebook site for 'roaccutane survivors' where there are some pretty horrendous stories of other side effects.

I put up with bad skin for years. Got antibiotics time and time again. I demanded to be referred for roaccutane because I was sick of it. Think sometimes ypu need to tell the gp ypu want to see a dermatologist, otherwise they just keep trying the same old things

Dianttee contraceptive pill cleared my DD up and she was bad. Next step was Roaccutane if it didn't work but it did.

She can get skin peels etc to improve the skin surface once it all settles.

My DD has porcelain skin now at age 19. Looked horrific aged 14
