Hygienist success......at last.

I've been seeing a hygienist three times a year since 2002 at my periodontists surgery. I'm fully invested in maintaining a strict cleaning regime as I dearly want to hold onto my teeth.
My dentist and periodontist are always happy with my efforts......however, my hygienist always pushes me further to improve my cleaning regime in particular areas of my mouth.

Saw her on Tue this week and she said my efforts were perfect and there's nothing more she can advise, just keep going with my current routine.
I'm really invested (which she said most of her patients aren't) my mouth is really stable no issues.

Would love to hear from other people on how you feel about having periodontal issues, it's a pain in terms of time needed to clean your teeth but it's with me for life!
How do you feel and how do you cope?

How spooky I just did a search for teeth cleaning routine.

I have a traumatic bite, which causes a certain area of my gum to persistently bleed and is always inflamed.

I clean three times a day. I floss, mouthwash admittedly not every day, probably every other day.

I was seeing the hygienist every six months, now it’s three to see if this helps the problem area.

Honestly, it gets me down. I feel that I probably clean my teeth more than the average person but feel like I’m always getting a telling off from the hygienist.

My dentist has now referred me to the dental hospital to see if they can suggest anything.
I have been told in the past I would need my jaw broken and realigned to fix my bite, but that sounds awful and hoping they come up with something else.

Thanks @RaspberryBeret1999 for your reply and I feel your pain with having increased hygienist appointments and being referred to a dental hospital, that is a lot to cope with.

I do get anxious before my appointments because her attention to detail is so specific, nothing is left unnoticed.
You're right with the amount of time you spend on your teeth in comparison to the average person, I feel that too.
If I was absolutely shattered and pushed for time and it was a choice between cleaning my teeth or removing my make up, my teeth would come first every time!
