Waterproof coat recommendation for 4 year old please?

I'm having trouble trying to find a good waterproof (not just a light shower) coat for my 4 year old. The two I have tried from Amazon are incredibly thin and make her sticky (I'm guessing the cheap material). We do walking through all weather so she really needs a decent coat that will hold up, and a hood that actually covers the whole head.
Any recommendations please?

Have a look at Mountain Warehouse and the brand trespass.

Depending on your budget I’ve found you can’t beat Polarn o Pyret or Spotty Otter for waterproofs

If you were hoping not to spend that much then Regatta are also very good

I get my DSD a ted baker coat every year. They're always not nice and thick and cosy and do seem to be waterproof with a good hood that's removal if you want. I usually buy off Vinted.

The jojo maman Bebe waterproofs are good, but they don’t come cheap. Alternatively I’d imagine an outdoorsy sort of store would have good quality stuff. I think this is one of those situations where you get what you pay for.

Nothing beats the Polarn O Pyret coats. We've had our DC on them since they were born.

Jojomaman ones are good quality, another brand to look for second hand as they will last well.

Lidl do a really good waterproof coat and waterproof trousers set, they're fleecy lined and warm and nothing gets through. They're so good I always buy one for the next year in case I can't get them then.

I get them from Patagonia. Yes they’re really expensive but they do both of my kids 2 years each, still look as good as new afterwards then I sell them on Vinted!
