A parking one, with a note!

I know the rules, there's a diagram.

My parents have lived in their house for more than 20 years. The two neighbours opposite them moved in about 5 years ago after that block of land was divided in two and two bungalows built.

My mother has had a horrible day at work, went to get her hair done as they're going on holiday in a few days and got home at 7:30pm and was approached by Red neighbour who complained about their car parked outside her property. She also had left this note. She was waiting for my mum to get home, and seeing as she was home two hours later than she normally would be due to her hair appointment she must've been waiting a long time Confused

The rant included 'when I moved in I told you you weren't allowed to park there!'

Red neighbour lives alone, parks in her garage and has a space on her driveway too. There is one parking space directly outside her house (the one she is Very Cross about) and three more outside Blue neighbour's house, and lots around the corner on the other road.

My mother did in fact move the car, and parked it outside their own house directly opposite Red Neighbour's driveway, making it still entirely possible but a bit annoying to get out of.

I'm very tempted to move the car back outside Red Neighbour's house once my parents head off on their holiday... we're staying with them at the moment, hence why I'm privy to all of the neighbourhood excitement.

Also, not U.K., hence why this has just happened.

Parking diagrams are absolutely top tier! Full marks!

my lottery win daydreams don’t involve houses in the Caribbean or expensive holidays. I would buy a series of taxed and insured cars registered to shell companies and then pay staff to park them in rotation outside the house of one of our former neighbours.

People with garages and driveways who then stake a claim to the public road are the worst.

1 of my neighbours told me I couldn't park outside her house as I was blocking her light.. She parked outside her ndn's window. Obviously she isn't as batshit about light... She took photos of me and my dc whilst hiding under a table.... I told her I would report her as a fucking weirdo if I saw her watching my dc again.
She owns a carpark attached to her home. Locked. Empty. 24/7.. She pays for a permit like us all instead.
