Pyrex dishes

Please does anyone have any good suggestions for how to get those clear Pyrex dishes really clean? Mine always seem to have dark brown specks on them, particularly in small crevices. Presumably burnt on oil or something after roasting e.g. potatoes in the oven.

I you are worried about the edges, stand them upside down in a solution of bleach.

Brillo pad works on mine

Try the Astonish cleaner it’s about £1 in the cheap shops - cleans an awful lot of things! The oven one is the same as the others. Try it on tea stained cups

Thanks everyone, I have tried Brillo and products similar to Astonish, but it doesn't work on crevices near the handles or around the rim. I hadn't thought of trying bleach, so I will try that next. I already use bleach to get tea stains off of mugs and teaspoons, so could do the Pyrex at the same time.

This. Although I start with boiling water.

Or try barkeepers friend.

Doesn't boiling water kill the enzymes, defeating the purpose of using bio.

I use a steel scourer and washing up liquid, works perfectly. Just remember to wear marigolds if you've got your nails done Hmm

Steel scourer and washing up liquid here too.

Does it? I’ve never heard that. However it works, it does work on my dishes. 🤷‍♀️
But I’ll try warm water next time to see if it works more quickly or effectively next time.

Definitely overnight soak in bio washing powder (not gel/liquid) in boiling water as suggested upthread. also great for burnt on crap on base of pans/oven trays.

I've used two different ways that are effective.

Soak overnight in hot water and bio washing powder.
Soak overnight in hot water and two dryer sheets. Yes, I did say tumble dryer sheets 😂
