Sick of overactive bladder, anyone managed to stop this?

There's no burning or pain, no other symptoms. Just have to go a lot, but only a small amount will come out. When I get ready for work in the morning, I have to go around 3 times in an hour. Over the course of an 8 hour day I can go around 5 times some days.
Fizzy drinks are the worst, they go right through me, so I rarely drink them anymore. Don't drink alcohol at all, don't drink tea or coffee.
I'm 32, no possibility that I'm pregnant, had this for years. No other symptoms, feel well in myself.
I've previously been to the Drs for it and was given nitrofurantoin, which helped but it's just come back. I've had it for years really but just completely fed up with it.
Grateful to hear any stories.

I'm 39 and go a lot more than that during the day and once at night if I wake up. I thought that was normal! I sometimes go every half hour if I'm drinking a lot.

Do you feel it in your bladder or urethra? Does it wake you up in the night? I take tamsulosin for similar and make sure I’m drinking a lot of liquid to dilute my pee so it isn’t irritating. I will stop taking it for a few months but every time I feel a flare up and need to go back on my morning pee is like a racehorse

I have OAB. It's not just drinks that can affect it, foods too. The following foods are triggers, I won't touch them: tomatoes, any citrus, paprika (huge for me), bananas, soy, sugar. Tomatoes are in more things than we think. Some alcohol affects me, only fizzy i have is lemonade, this can be hit and miss as to if it affects me or not. OAB had controlled my whole life. Only 1 friend knows I have it. Other friends think I'm a bit off going to it loo all the time. Most of the time it's 'preventative peeing' ie going when I see a loo so I'm not caught short. I get anxiety thinking I need to go when I know there is no loo/opportunity to go. This makes me think I need to go, and it feels like like it too. I get to the loo only to find out it was all anxiety and I never read that desperate to go/ hardly anything comes out. OAB is just the worst
