Does anyone have the Emma Bridgewater children's rice husk set in a suitcase?

I'm wondering whether to get it for my DD for Christmas as she needs some new bowls and plates. She is 4 so I'm not sure if the set would be too small for her? I can't see any measurements of the plate and bowl online, but some of the photos make them look quite tiny...

Looks lovely for a toddler but can't a 4 year old just use the same crockery as everyone else?

Yes probably... She is my first and I am having trouble accepting that she's not a baby anymore! You're right, I should probably ditch the idea really

Do they not offer the same or similar patterns in ceramic?

I think that it looks lovely and not too childish at all. My 7 year old loves using all her childhood plates and bowls. Yes she could use our plain white plates, but that would be boring for her. Life's too short. At 4 she is still most definitely still a baby. Go for it.

I see nothing wrong with children using special plates and cutlery but a 4 year old is most certainly not a baby.

If you think she’ll like , get it. In fact I’d like one as well
