Isle of Wight
Mountbatten hospice is by all accounts brilliant (we’ve not had first hand experience thankfully, but friends have) and leader is dynamic and prominent in community.
You could live in a pretty good range of places all by the sea here.
Every year there’s the ‘Walk the Wight’ which raises money for Mountbatten and is a really fab event that a huge cross section of islanders (and visitors) get involved with.

Hove - The Martletts.
Great area for families.

Another vote for either Ayr - really lovely beaches and surrounding countryside, or Weston super Mare. Broadoak near Uphill is a pretty good school, a colleague sent both her kids there, and the hospice is well regarded, my partner did a few shifts there and said it is well run with a pleasant atmosphere. One of her ex bosses took a post there and loves it.

Exeter has a hospice and is around 20 minutes from the sea. A couple of beautiful beaches either side of the estuary. Loads of watersports etc.

Plymouth. St Luke's Hospice overlooks the sea. Also have Dartmoor on the doorstep and Cornwall just over the River Tamar. Still had Grammar Schools if that's your preference and has a University. Large hospital and mainline train station.

Waterloo/Crosby north of Liverpool. Nearby is St Joseph's hospice in Thornton or Woodlands in the grounds of Aintree hospital.

Yep, I was going to suggest Jospice :)
