Do you buy organic?

I follow Zoe nutrition podcast with interest and they generally recommend that organic food is better if you can afford it...

Do you agree? Do you worry about pesticides in your food? Is it something you prioritise despite the additional cost and why?

I buy the "dirty dozen" organic, and my animal produce, but otherwise no.

As for the why, I control the controllables with my health and thus don't need to worry so much about the things I can't.

No. Can't afford it and already got enough things to worry about.

its a silly self indulgent fad which is environmentally damaging and pushes up the price of food for the whole world by requiring extra land for less volume of food - organic food does not have less chemicals on it, just different ones.

Not really. It's usually too expensive.

@lesserspotted That's an interesting take, do you have any articles or resources you can link to? Interested to read more on that side of things because I normally hear of it being better for the environment and health.
