If you've had Covid recently, what was your first symptom?

I'm trying to decide whether or not it's worth shelling out for a lateral flow test (I have vulnerable 80+ relatives staying)

Woke up this morning with sore tight chest, aching blocked sinuses, dizziness and what feels like a migraine aura. Had painful, cramping diarrhoea yesterday.

Woke up Thursday feeling like I had been hit by a bus and just not feeling well. Body aches, sneezing, dry eyes, and really tired. I tested Friday as I wanted to know, and it came up positive.

I still feel really rough and much worse than the last time I had it.

Bad cough. Headaches. Realised a week later I couldn't smell baby's nappy. Ffs 🫣 still suffering from cough and runny nose 10 days on. Annoying. Didn't isolate once though.

Forget covid. You have a virus, doesn't matter a fuck if it's covid or some other virus they can all be lethal to vulnerable people.

Don't spend time with vulnerable people when you clearly have a virus of whatever sort

This! To be honest. You clearly have a virus of some kind. Can you stay in your room and at least avoid the vulnerable relatives staying with you?

Started with a headache that felt like a migraine along with backache. Then stuffy nose and high fever/chills and aching all over. Day 3 sore throat has set in. I'm so done with it now.

Tight chested, then a bit of a tickly cough before general cold symptoms, first day of testing negative today but smell and taste have gone.

DH also got it, has had it longer then me and has been on and off in bed with headache, temperature and sinuses

Aching legs after a walk I do regularly. Itchy throat and nausea the next day.

I'm wondering if have it now. DH was out before but they didn't have any tests.

I don't have the usual symptoms but I feel 'weird' like I'm in a dream and not here, I can't keep my eyes open through tiredness - couldn't even iron uniform before, aching bones mainly legs and terrible back ache and a bit of a cough. I would with vulnerable patients so I really need to test
