So I have always wondered how come there can be a bit of steak that your knife can’t cut but your teeth can. Yet your teeth are not razor sharp?

Bring your silly questions here because 1) there is no such thing and 2) someone might know the answer!

My orthodontist told me the tongue is the strongest muscle as it can move teeth.. When dc such their thumb it is the tongue that moves the teeth not the thumb..

Not quite true. The teeth sit in the neutral zone between lip muscles and tongue muscle
forces. Any “parafunction” (habit) that affects the neutral zone will cause the teeth to move.

Does a cows udder feel similar to a penis, Google has no answers and I'm fed up of being asked, how would I know that?!

I assume you mean the teat and not the main udder part???

My recollection is from helping at a relative farm about 1 million years ago, so I do hope a real farmer comes along soon! I recall the teat being much thinner and less turgid than a penis 😆

Why do I look so bloody awful without make up?

To answer your question. No they don't. Cows udders are very soft and squishy there is no 'firm' bit inside at all, and they feel more like a water filled balloon.

Hallelujah! Thank you, I'll show her this and we can all go back to being 'normal' Grin

@Strathyre , there are plenty of those ‘one and a half bowl’ sinks in the U.K! We’ve had one for over 30 years - hardly a new thing. Dd also has one, they’re commonly available.

Cherryana · 14/10/2023 08:06

Hurrah - the teeth question and udder question and the washing up bowl question have been answered!

Another sink washing up one- why do some people NOT rinse the suds off? Do they think they just disappear? I recall drinking water from a glass that clearly hadn't been rinsed and almost vomited from the taste of suds 😝

Eurgh my partner does this. He loves washing up but I wish he'd do it properly!

If space is infinitely small as well as infinitely large, how can we even step over a crack in the pavement? That width goes on to infinity?

DH and I both admitted we didn't know whether afternoon turns into evening according to the clock or according to how dark it is. We decided it must be the clock, but then it feels weird calling pitch black 5.30 in December 'afternoon'.

The water gets murky when you wash up, so in my mind you are washing up in a soapy soup. Which is fine, as all the food debris and smears are washed off the items, but I can’t stand the thought of not rinsing the soapy soup off.

This one gets me too , I work odd shifts so I may start at 8pm and other days finish at 8pm , or I start and finish at 4am , other workmates and staff start and finish at other times so 4 or 5 of us can start or finish at the same time and there are shouts of good evening/ night / morning regardless of whether we are starting or finishing work.
It sounds like none of us can tell the time !
