Good idea or disastrous? 2 x ds, no consoles at all, all their friends have PlayStation and/or xbox, plus switch.....not sure if I want to give in to it yet but if I do it will have to be shared.

Can't believe there are so many kids that share nicely on this thread.
😂😂they absolutely didn't at the beginning but they soon learnt!

(Plus, as it's a "family" switch rather than belonging to one of them, it's easier for them to accept restrictions on it)

It's like sharing the TV with your siblings when you were a kid (assuming you're old like me and only had one TV). Yes there were some arguments but you just had to get on with it!

I bought my DC one to share. They decided for themselves to alternate days when they have it so they have an agreement between themselves where they have it every other day. It’s worked out great.

@gamerchick their friends have PS/xbox AND switch. I just can't afford that sort if thing.

And, this matters, I have no idea at all about consoles. I was bought a Sega megadrive aged 16 by a boyfriend, played sonic a few times and that was that!

Our DC share a Switch - it was actually bought for me, for my birthday a few years ago, so it's technically mine so they can't claim ownership. We tend to say they can each have the same time on it & that helps.
Can recommend Hyrule Warriors as a good 2 player game too.
