Will the organisers of the peace festival all over the news be held responsible for the location it was held in & the lack of emergency evacuation plan/security in place

Obviously it was awful & the deaths have been horrific ect. But liability wise surely there's some responsibility with the event planners ?

You must be joking.

If Israeli intelligence services didn't know, how would a civilian company? Think about it...

⬆️This ! The Israeli intelligence services are one of the most advanced in the world and they didn’t know this was going to happen so how on earth would concert organisers know !

It was in an area quite close to ongoing disputes & didnt have connections to the israeli intelligence Agency's (the alarm being cut with the power outages ect.) No way of safely contacting police/army in an emergency (who i actually feel slightly bad for having to deal with the reality & physical side of it as some of them wont have been experianced with national service), so litterally wasn't in anyway protected from anything that could have & did happen

I was reading in the news that they were warned about possible rocket attack, but didn't expect trucks full of terrorists. It's right
on the border isn't it? I guess a convenient target for an attack.

  • you don't always need to be told something is a bad idea to know & assess wether something could be a bad idea - this isn't the same as the las Vegas massacre a few years back these regions have been fighting for years & attacking public events

That's what I mean - public events in the area / country have been under increased security for years & there is a high alert around holidays & mass gatherings I just can't get my head around how they needed a specific pre-validated warning to 'know' that it might not be safe at all

I suspect that as the border is heavily guarded and essentially closed they weren't expecting it and even the best health and safety executives probably didn't foresee paragliding terrorists. It's an oversight, but I'd say a fairly understandable one.
