Should I go to the walk in?

So yesterday I moved my table to clean under it and when I pushed it back with the side of my leg I can only assume it was my kneecap that popped out. I panicked and leaned on a chair and it popped back in.

I’ve been walking fine and I’m not in pain, it just feels a bit weak.

Nope - they can only help if it's dislocated.

If there's any swelling use an ice pack on it and if there isn't but you want to support it then wear a tubigrip or knee support (both available in pharmacy and supermarkets). For pain take anti inflammatories.

I know this as someone with a chronic knee problem (which will eventually be resolved with a knee replacement).

I’d put some tubi grip on for a few days to keep it in place. No need to go to walk in.

I would. Rather know what it is.

Btw I only suggested it as that’s what it says on the NHS website, to have it checked etc but just seemed maybe too much as I’m not in pain, just my leg/knee felt weak.

You could have done ligament damage, I would make an appointment for a scan.

My sister dislocated her thumb, which then popped back in. She only went to minor injuries 48hrs later as her OH insisted. One referral to hospital and within 6 days of dislocating her thumb she had an operation to repair ligament damage caused by the dislocation. Always best to get it checked.
