Forget about the kids on their gadgets all day, I'm even worse!
Who else has reduced their phone time and improved their life?

Oh wow the book thing is me too. I've got so many books I want to read but I haven't read one in ages. I think I've read 2 this year.
I also went away last year with no wifi signal. I chose it because of this and we all had an amazing time.
We all spent time outdoors, playing cards with each other, reading books and watching films.
I need to get that quality of life back. At the moment, it feels like a waste, full of junk.

@randompotato

same,

I actually lost my shit because I’m talking to him about the kids shit school reports and he was really vacant.

checked his Twitter and realised during the time we’re chatting he’s talking to random strangers sending stupid memes.

it’s rude and it’s ignorant and like wise couldn’t see a problem.

he’s single now so can spend as much time on social media as he likes !

You're right, it's incredibly rude, and sometimes he point blank ignores DC when they are trying to talk to him as he's on it, that's when get really annoyed. He genuinely can't see the issue though, that's the worrying part - that it's so ingrained in him to just be on it, he gets indignant when I say anything.
