yes I know, all the medical professionals I have spoken to about this tell me now is not the time to worry about weight, but I have never been obese before, and it is really getting me down.

Has anybody else managed to control weight gain or even lose weight while on massive doses of drugs that make you pile the weight on?

My best friend had this issue . the irony was that while she was being treated for breast cancer she looked completely healthy. I would say that now is not the time to be worried about your weight. Follow the guidance from your medical team and eat healthily.

I sympathise with her! I am honestly ready to head but the next person who comments on how well I look when I am feeling the worst I have ever felt in my life. It is an insanely insensitive thing to say, but just falls out of people's mouths so blithely!
