DH got up before me to feed the cats as I unusually slept past 6am. I love my quiet mornings.

Now we’re having tea (me) and coffee (him) on the sofa. He’s reading about electric cars as we’re trying to decide what to get.

We’ll have breakfast soon and then go for a walk in the woods near home. It’s to be 27° today here so we want to get out early.

Later today I am working on decluttering my wardrobe. Shamefully I’ve got 6 bin bags already for recycling. Then we will make food for today and batch cook for Monday to Wednesday.

Dinner will be meatballs cacio e pepe.

Was up at 3am with major toothache and a really swollen face. Sitting watching my 1yr old playing. DH will be doing everything today😁

DP got up at 5 as he's doing a few hours of overtime this morning. I'm having tea and toast and trying to gather the motivation to have a massive sort out of clothes that need to go the charity shop. Very dull but I don't mind dull Sundays.

Up at 6:30 to get on with some marking and then teaching at 11am. Out for lunch with some friends to celebrate a bit of bright health news: all clear from boob biopsy. It’s been a better end to the week than the beginning, that’s for certain. Older ds is snoring, as is dh.

Today is a double party day for ds6. Hes still asleep but I'll wake him soon as we're getting picked up by his chums mum at 10. We are going to first party, back to chums for lunch, all of to 2nd party then home about 5 for tea chill and bed. I have quite severe social anxiety so will be hard to be switched on all day but wee man is so excited so I'll have to suck it up. Its a good bunch of parents and kids so should be fine!

DS and I got up around 7. I've fed the animals and tidied the kitchen. Have got some homemade chocolate swirls in the oven. Off to see my mum later this morning for a cup of tea, then back home to do some work, prep dinner and get ready for another week. These weekends go far too quickly! Might try and fit in a nap this afternoon too!

Only got up about 20 mins ago. Had a bad sleep Friday night so slept really well last night.
Spent all day yesterday cleaning & washing every single dirty item of clothing in the house so today I've only to mop floors. I'll go for a walk later, make dinner & then watch arsenal v Man City at 4:30 which Ive been so looking forward to. Kids are in their 20's so they can do what they like. Love a quiet Sunday.

Morning all - love these threads. DH & I are in bed, me on Mumsnet, him watching a deadly boring cycle video on his I Pad. DD14 has been for a walk & is banging about in the kitchen. She seems incapable of doing anything quietly! Not sure what our plans are today. I’m really struggling ( think I probably have fibroids,polyps or ovarian cysts again) & it feels like a heavy period. DH always cleans the bunnies out on Sundays. New hutches are arriving later this week. Looking forward to toad in the hole, double cream mash, broccoli, fried onions & gravy for tea yummy! Oh & there are several loads of washing to hang out. The weather is unbelievable at the mo.

I got up at 8.15 which is late for me but I blame this cold. I’m currently in the lounge with a lemsip trying to get motivated.

DS1 and DD2 are watching SpongeBob and eating pancakes. DH is swimming but will hopefully be back any minute to make coffee.

coffee will be had for at least an hour, followed by washing, changing bedS, homework, baking, batch cooking and then a visit to the park.
lunch is salt and pepper chicken and dinner is venison meatballs.

Only me up. I've done some admin and booked a Christmas event with the children. Shopping coming shortly. Pootling and gardening later on.

I’m getting unwell 2yo for very early nap, 3yo is being a gem and watching some tv. I’ll tidy up and do play doh for a bit and hopefully we will all get out later today for a walk. I’m trying to build Theo walking stamina

Cup of tea in bed for me and coffee for the hubby.. the kids were treated to breakfast in bed, brioche bread and croissants with fruit and yogurts... now getting ready for our yearly tradition of pumpkin picking 🎃

I am up and have hung some washing up and started another load. Feeling tired and achy as I had Covid & flu jabs yesterday morning and DS2 needed collecting from work at midnight. everyone else in the house is asleep.

Today will be homework, music practise. Ds1&2 are both working today.

DS2 is 18 on Friday so need to sit and look at presents and arrangements and make sure everything is ready.

Avoiding the horrific rain as far as possible. Collecting my son’s new bike from the shop. Sorting uniforms for tomorrow then Starfield. Good times.

Day 4 of norovirus! Kids are fine now but I feel horrific despite having had it the longest. DH suspiciously not out of bed so suspect he might be about to succumb 😬

Kids have watched way too much tv this week already but Bluey is on. I don't have the strength to care.

I've been up since about 3:30am, but this morning will be doing drop off and pick up for my youngest, as he's refereeing a football match.

OH is doing an exercise session in the lounge.

Not sure after that, as I did a fair bit yesterday. Could be a couple of glasses of wine this afternoon and then a video call with the eldest at who is at Uni this evening.

Just ordered McDonald's breakfast for 15yo DS and I, our usual Sunday morning routine. I need to clean the bathroom this morning and pop to Matalan. DS will tidy his room and probably play on the playstation for a bit. This afternoon we are meeting family at the pub for a drink as it's a family member's 60th birthday. Tonight I will be watching the new series of Big Brother (yes, call me whatever you want but it was a big part of my teenage years and I'm excited 😂)

Woke at 6:30 am and am now on my way to do some open water swimming!
Rest of the day will be slowly doing housework and maybe reading/snoozing.

I'm attempting to clean/declutter the house but my kids are having none of it and are shouting me to "watch this!" in between making more mess.

My hopes are to have a nice bath at about 6 then relax with a film in a clean house but I can't see it happening.

Would anyone like to borrow a couple of small children for the day? They need feeding every half an hour and will ruin your sofas but are very cute.

I'm ill for the third day. So boring. Cleaned the kitchen this morning as it was a bombsite left by the dcs.

Now the crushing headache and chills are back so I'm on the sofa with a cup of 🍵

I was up around 7.15 and had tea and fed the dog. I very helpfully started DH’s Christmas shopping for him by ordering myself a pendant and ring.

We had neighbours over for a bbq yesterday afternoon/evening so this morning I finished tidying the kitchen etc. Well almost finished. Still a few bits to sort out.

I have just put some washing on and will hang that up when it’s done.

DH is currently watching yesterday’s England rugby match.

I’m planning a lazy day and hoping to sit in the garden in the sun for a bit with a couple of magazines to make the most of the weather.

Steak, salad and potatoes for dinner. With wine.

May try and call DS who is away doing a Masters but he will probably be busy. Which is good.

DD woke at 7 and I heard her put her device on, got up, made coffee and let dog out. Then me and dog went back to bed. Read a book with my coffee and then snoozed until 9. Made another coffee and now lying on the sofa watching the Simpsons.

I've made a to do list for me and DD to complete today. It's going to be warm here so hoping to do a nice dog walk at some point.

There's only me and DD in the household so it's nice and quiet. Just the way I like it.

Up from five with DS4, who was having nightmares, up properly when DS2 announced himself at six, shovelled some food into them and collapsed on the sofa with Tractor Red until eight. Spent the last two hours alternating refereeing and cleaning, and my mum is coming for dinner so we'll have to make that at some point.

Husband has just surfaced and shambled into the office to try to achieve human in relative peace. Not a morning person!
