Would this annoy you?

wasn't sure where to post this- but local charitable org puts on event and I book on through Eventbrite which costs £20 plus £4.50 booking fee.

Event gets cancelled by the org, £20 returned to me but Eventbrite keeps the booking fee.

I'm really irked that I've paid £4.50 for absolutely nothing. Would you let it go as it's £4.50 and nothing the charitable org can do about it or would you complain further as it's still nearly a fiver just gone into the pocket of a big corp for nothing.

Bloody annoying as £4.50 is extortionate anyway. There must be a policy on returning booking fees though and I guess Eventbrite will justify the non return by saying they fulfilled their obligations

@Blackbyrd glad I'm not being completely petty. I looked on their help pages and if the organisers cancelled the event we should get full amount back so I'm guessing they did it wrong and requested refunds rather than cancelling. If they weren't a charity I'd pursue it further but I feel bad arguing with a volunteer over a fiver. But they could at least offer a voucher for a drink for their error or is that still really petty?!
