Joe Lycett and Tom Allen

I didn't get Tom Allen for the longest time, I'd have to change the channel when he was on as I didn't find him funny at all. He looked uncomfortable and it made me feel on edge. Then almost overnight I thought he was really funny, I love him now! I'm still not sure whether he improved or my sense of humour changed.

Morecambe and Wise.

They are the only two mentioned on this thread who are funny

john bishop

How are they called comedians?

griegwithhimandhim · 06/10/2023 00:26

So many here I agree with.

For those of a certain age... Bernard Manning. Ew.

TLDRfuckers · 06/10/2023 00:29

So many already mentioned are deeply unfunny (Frankie Boyle, Katherine Ryan, Russel Howard, Rosie Jones)

see also, Ross Noble. And Sarah Pascoe.

"Years ago I found Jo Brand quite funny on stage but she's a complete one trick pony.

Only ever really talks about being fat and men."*

twilightermummy · 06/10/2023 00:44

Harry Hill
Adam Hills used to be funny and then he started singing and taking his clothes off, no idea what he does now.Ricky Gervais, David Walliams and Russel Brand I don't even count as comedians.

SabrinaThwaite · 06/10/2023 00:47

I’m glad it’s not just me that doesn’t find Rosie Jones in the least bit funny.

SpicedAppleAndFreshCider · 06/10/2023 00:49

I like Jimmy Carr, Steve Coogan, Ricky Gervais. Three of my favourites.

Micky Flanagan especially after watching him live is my favourite.

I feel bad but I don't get Rosie Jones.

SpicedAppleAndFreshCider · 06/10/2023 00:51

My Husband can't stand Michael McIntyre but I like him.

I love Joe Wilkinson and even more after I watched The Cockfields

StowOnTheWold · 06/10/2023 00:57

At the very least add Jenny Eclair to the list.

bonbon2023 · 06/10/2023 00:58

Anyone that's a woman. I don't find women comedians funny at all.

ALongHardWinter · 06/10/2023 01:03

Peter Kaye. Frankie Boyle. Joan Rivers. Just don't find them funny at all. I'm so pleased no one has (yet!) mentioned 2 of my favourites - Jack Dee and Julian Clary.
