What shall DH and I talk about over dinner tonight? (lighthearted)

DH and I are on holiday at the moment. Table for dinner is booked for 8.30. I love his company but I'm very aware that conversation is a bit small talky if we don't make an effort. This is nice, try the wine, did you call your mum today, fancy a walk later blah blah. Anyone fancy giving me a conversation starter? I'll update on how it goes!

Quite literally anything and everything.

Culture's good. Discuss a film/book/play/tv prog/art exhibition. Let the conversation range from there.
If art didn't exist I'd be nearly mute. It does almost the whole job for me. 😅

Ours would be anything: place, choice of food, what else to do tomorrow/ the day after, what languages people are talking around, news from family, news from UK ( that would probably be the main topic of conversation with HS2 being scrapped) local prices, how local builders are managing to work at this heat, etc.

@foulksmills wow, I would love a conversation with you, those are absolutely questions that need expanding on imo😆

We're back! We talked about what our ideal jobs would be (actresss for me, aircraft engineer for him), why I'm scared of rollercoasters, aversion to various foods, how to turn our spare room into a relaxation room/ coffee lounge and a few other things.
