NHS MyChart system, has anybody else used it?

I have a couple of appointments coming up at hospital. This morning I received an email inviting me to sign up to MyChart as requested by my "team". It's is a system being used to help patients keep track of their appointments and medical stuff.

Anyway my upcoming appointments showed up as being with a totally different person (which wouldn't be possible in my case) and then 5 minutes later after refreshing the site my appointments had all been removed.

Has anybody else used MyChart and had similar issues? Is it reliable?

I've been using it for a few weeks and have found it largely unfit for purpose.
I get endless "500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed."
About 10% of the time a button will work, but some have never done. I've tried different browsers and the app on my phone, and all are as bad as each other.

Feels like the post office or the fire service computer system debacle all over again. UK governments apperntly unable to implement any decent IT.

I've had no problem with it. It shows my appointments, letters, test results etc. as long as the consultant has released them to mychart as well as sending them to the GP or whatever. it doesn't display everything, and not forever, and it can be a bit clunky on a phone when sometimes the app decides it has to open a webpage for certain things, but generally it seems OK. I don't have functionality like contacting members of the 'team' or asking questions or anything; it's purely keeping track of appointments and results and copies of letters.

We use Mychart and have done so for ages. It is brilliant! But... Like any other system it is only as good as the information that is put into it. I'm guessing that it may be new in your area and hospital admin are still getting used to it. It does take a while, and a LOT of training, to be used effectively. Our hospital Trust have had it for around 3 years now and were a fairly early adopter, but not the earliest

i signed up for it for recent treatment at the Marsden. It's helpful in that appts and letters show. But links don't seem to work - had to google to find info on the CCU instead. And all the test results showing up just bemuse me!

It's irritating to have a blood test, be notified that the results are in, told to contact the surgery, and then be unable to get even a doc/tel appt for 3 weeks! Fuming . . . Understand that some docs wont release results until they've spoken to you first but they're my results after all and I want to see them :/

I think it's great - had some quite complicated treatment recently and really helped to see everything together - also any changes in appointments come through really quickly. But my hospital gives the impression of being quite on it so works well

I’ve been using it for several years now and love it. I can see everything on there without having to call up for results, also appointments and all copies of letters.

If you are having problems, and I recall I had a couple at the beginning, there should be a number you can call and they will sort it out.

Used it for years and find it excellent - appointments, letters, test results, all in one place and no need for letters in post. Though GP can't see it.
