London’s most magical independent shop high streets?

I am in London for a few days in November, and want to go and visit some sweet little gem type shops.

Can you give me a list of the most lovely high streets in London? Ones full of charm and independent shops with lovely folksy stuff (not chain shops)!

Primrose Hill has all that you have asked for, plus one of the best views of London from top of the hill

Kensington church street, beautiful antique shops, gorgeous coffee shops, picturesque delicatessens… and one of the prettiest pubs in London, which also happens to serve delicious authentic Thai food.

Walthamstow “village” - God’s own junkyard

Have a look at Pretty Little London on Instagram.

Watching with interest - having fought my way along Oxford St today, I’d love to go somewhere nicer next time I’m there!

@MoonshineandMagic. St Christopher place then meander up to Marylebone.

Or opp self ridges with your back to the front of self ridges just walk forward

I agree with Marylebone High Street and Primrose Hill. Camden Passage in Islington ain't what it used to be, most of the quirky antique shops have gone

St Christopher place then meander up to Marylebone.

Maybe via Marylebone Lane before you come to the main drag of the high street.

Elizabeth St is very pretty if you’re going to be anywhere near Kings Road/Sloane Sq. Recommend the Thomas Cubitt for a drink or two. They do a good Sunday roast too.
also Regents Park Road as someone else mentioned. You can get the tube to Chalk Farm and meander up RPR to Primrose Hill then through Primrose Hill if you have half an hour or so you can wander up to Hampstead from there, albeit I don’t think Hampstead High St is as nice as it could be given the wealth there.

Wimbledon village is also lovely (not Wimbledon town centre).

Upper Street and Camden Passage.
Stoke Newington - Church Street.

I wouldn't recommend the main drag of hampstead or the shops. But, if you're interested in architecture and tucked away picturesque alleys and streets then it's amazing. Get off the high street and explore but not really for shops. Primrose Hill is better imo
