I think I've just received 2 fake driving licences in the post.

I've just received a special delivery addressed to me and inside is a plain piece of A4 paper and 2 driving licences in a little polythene bag. They are in 2 different names with relatively local addresses.

I put the tracking number into royal mail and they appear to have been posted from Kilburn in Derbyshire - where i know nobody!!

However, neither of them have barcodes which I thought they should have - I don't drive so don't have a driving licence so not sure what they should look like. Also the hologram doesn't seem quite right. I think they're fake. They were both "issued" on the same date.

I'm half expecting someone to try picking them up at some point with some mumbo jumbo about their registered letter going to wrong address.

Send them back to DVLA swansea Sa99

Or go to the address and ask if they were meant for them

I doubt theyre fake, youve said yourself you dont actually know what a driving licence looks like. Probably just sent to the wrong address

Dodgy as hell. Special Delivery Addressed to you with 2 different names and addresses.
You can’t deny delivery if someone comes knocking because they most likely will of had a confirmation of Special Delivery.
Send to DVLA

If you think they're fake, definitely report them to the police. Fake driving licences are often used in fraud so that people can open bank accounts with non traditional banks who only do online checks.

....and the DVLA don't send their licences inside polythene bags.

They are stuck to an official letter, A4 sized, folded inside an official envelope.

not like anyone can drive with them it's all digital anyway it's likely just some kid wanting to get in a club

On the other hand, my dd once had a license delivered from DVLA which never arrived.
