Reception child: fresh uniform every day?

Feel a little silly writing here but I really don't want to ask IRL!
So, my expectations was for my son to be able to wear his trousers and his sweatshirt for at least a couple of days before needing washing. Reality: trousers have a faint smell of wee at the end of every day (that never happened in nursery, but maybe his day is now different, who knows) and the sweatshirt's sleeves are covered in food/snot. I am putting them in the wash and send him in with a new clean set every morning.
Is this your experience as well or are your children better at managing their clothes? Or am I worrying too much and should I send him in in the same clothes and only wash them when they really smell/are seriously dirty?

Cardigans often last at this time of year only because they’re not worn for most of the day! Everything else usually needs washing.

Mine has always needed 5 sets of everything. Now in y6, despite showering daily and deodorant, definitely needs fresh uniform.

All my primary age children have fresh uniform every day. They get dirty.. and as they get older, they get sweaty

Mine is in year 2 now, and his trousers are now at the rewear stage. In Reception it was clean everything most days, and then got to a l stage where the jumper was reusable. Mostly the white shirts get tomato sauce (as in pasta sauce) stains on them from lunch!

Wash if it needs it!

DD could wear her cardy and pinafore for 2-3 days on occasion. DS has been wearing the same shorts and jumper for a few days. I must admit I haven't sniffed them!

Yes new set of uniform each day, now older primary I can get a few days out of jumpers etc, can’t imagine not and always seems optimistic having less uniform unless planning on washing during the week.

At that age I'd think most have a fresh set every day.

I tend to iron 4 sets plus PE clothes on a Sunday, sometimes we use it all, sometimes some is left over for the next week so I just top up sets to 4.

Having a few sets is defo the way forward, if you can afford to. All that evening washing/drying/ironing is an arse pain and at that age so many shirts get ruined by pens/paint (at my DS's primary they let then have black marker pens to practice letters from reception age. Nightmare!) so we got through loads of uniform.
