Wetting the bed

We've recently tried to night train my 5 year old (boy) and he's had 3 accidents in about 3.5 weeks. Should we persevere or go back to nappies for a bit?

Back to nappies for a bit

My eldest boy wasn't reliably dry by though the night until he was past 7

There is obviously a market for the larger drynite pull ups when you see the bigger sizes in supermarkets

There is a hormone that we need to start producing to slow urine production overnight, some of us just start that a bit late than others

Not nappies though - pull ups as then you can reuse
And keep up a star chart for dry nights but don't sweat the accidents

Ok thanks that's great. He was using the size 7 aldi pull ups but do you not think they're right?

I'd keep going, if you're averaging one accident a week that really isn't bad. With my 5 year old I got a bed wetting alarm off Amazon to try and she went from wet most nights to dry within 3 weeks. She still has occasional accidents, maybe once a month but I think for her wearing a pull up over night had just become a habit to wee in it, it was always wet when she woke up.

This is the alarm I used
