Not married but if I were to move, I have:

cosmetics
lots of loo rolls
books
mobile phone, laptop, smart watch and some other technology

I've got 6 btl properties that are mine alone. The other 4 belong to Ltd company and were both directors. Our home and holiday home are joint. His pension is far bigger than mine. I've got personal bits clothes, make up, surface pro and all the tech bits, he has his own, blue rays he wouldn't want. I've got a car. We've got a family car too.

The children's hand prints? I'm the one who went to the effort of doing those with them, so I'd definitely be bagging them all and taking them on my way out. DH could have a photocopy if he cared about them.

Not bothered about much else. There's not a lot I couldn't replace. Kids' toys, books, cuddlies and treasures would presumably follow the kids to wherever their main home was going to be.

TBH he has always been the much higher earner so literally nothing in principle. Aside from jewellery and gifts I guess.

But we own everything jointly. He put me on the deeds as soon as we married (18 years ago) and all out bank accounts are joint so i would assume we would split everything down the middle.

I don't want to think about it though. We have our irritations but I'd be lost without him.

I'm self-employed so work stuff, plus lots of books.
