Winter clothes drying routine

It's been fine over the summer drying clothes on the line outside but in the winter we don't have enough radiator space, and things don't dry quickly (we only have the heating on if it's really really bitter, and even then just an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening).

We don't have a dryer but we are now a family of 5 (kids aged 5, 3 and 3 months) - we pretty much do a quick 15mins wash most days.

Anyway send me your winter drying tips!

Thank you xx

We havexa condenser tumbler but we also gave a Lakeland heated airer.
If you have a 3 month old baby then surely you need your heating on when it is cold? You need your children to be warm.

We hang the clothes outside after washed, just to get rid of the water then transfer it inside where there is enough warm from the heater. We have installed a wall mounted hanger indoor (looks like this) where we hang and dry the clothes.

Heated airer in spare room with dehumidifier works a treat

If your clothes only need 15 min washes do they really need washing? Can you do fewer washes on an eco cycle and use the heating more instead as it will benefit you and the house and the washing more.

I've just bought a dehumidifier that I am planning to put near my clothes horse of clothes which is also in front of the radiator/window but of ours ewe have t put the heating on as of yet. I dry my clothes upstairs on top floor in back room because that's the room where the sun hits the most too. I open the window too

I have a few airers and a clothes rail that I hang clothes on. Also use a dehumidifier which cuts the drying time down loads and soaks up the moisture.

I find when I don't use the dehumidifier the clothes are still wet after a couple of days and the washing smells damp
