As the title suggests if you could be and live the life of any fictional TV character who would you be and why?

I think for me it would be Alicia Florick from the TV series The Good Wife. She is a very smart intelligent and capable woman and mother making her way in the world, I also love her apartment and her style. Even though I’m over 40 I think I aspire to be like her when I’m a grown up 🤣

I'd love to age into Frankie from Grace & Frankie.

Another CJ
Miss Marple.
Cagney or Lacey
When I was growing up one of the Railway children or a girl in Mallory Towers (I’d have been thoroughly homesick).

Jessica Fletcher. Lives in a beautiful little seaside town in Maine, has a successful career as a mystery author plus a sideline in solving mysteries, and lots of friends and relatives around the country who are always inviting her to San Francisco and ew York.

There's a few for me

Jack Regan from the Sweeney - just to punch a crook and say "Right son, you're nicked"

Tommy Shelby from Peaky Blinders - simultaneously nasty and cool

Peter Boyd from Waking the Dead - just liked his attitude

Rebus in the Ken 'Stott version

This is who sprung to my mind too... I just love her sass and how her grandaughters dote on her__

My great aunt was known for her sassy remarks. I suspect sass is one of the consolations of old age (and stops people patronising you) and so I intend to follow in her footsteps once I retire.

Phryne Fisher from Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries. I want to be a 1920s flapper, dressed beautifully, throwing my money around, solving mysteries and having lots of sex with delectable young men. Books are better than the TV series though. In the books she has a malachite bath and a lot more men.

Whilst I love strong women and so do adore Buffy and CJ, my number one choice would be Leslie Knope - smart, loves her job, beautiful, adored by a lovely man and wonderful friends, crafty.. the ultimate IMHO!

Mel from Virgin River because, well, Jack!

I was going to say Roseanne Connor from Roseanne then it dawned on me I might already be her!

I'm striving to be Sophia from Golden Girls in my dotage.

QueefofSheena · 04/11/2023 19:26

Hayley from The Originals - Klaus and Elijah

In films, Rizzo for her sass and Selene from Underworld for the catsuit and moves
