Has anyone heard of "life activation" (formerly known as "DNA activation")

A friend today mentioned that she has undergone this process. It was carried out by another friend of hers, who is more involved with the organisation promoting the process. My friend is an intelligent and sensible woman, and the other woman is a well meaning and charismatic dingbat. She used sensitive information about a bereavement to add to the impact of what she was doing (in reality as far as I can tell waving her hands in the air).

I thought it was just some reiki type thing, but having looked it up it looks suspect. Does anyone know more about it?

From what I know of it, it's a cult where they are financially and sometimes sexually exploiting people 🤢🤬

The people my friend is talking about are not the American cult with the abuse allegations. But yes, I am concerned that money is changing hands for basically nothing.

99% of the time, that's all these things are OP. Money for nothing, people out to make a quick buck and taking advantage of people

Surely any kind of energy healing, like Reiki or similar is "taking money for nothing" according to those that don't believe whereas those that feel they get a benefit from it are happy to pay

Just the word "life" positioned next to "activation" can only mean one thing: Total, complete and utter wooquackery bollocks.

I suppose so, but reiki has been around long enough that I see it as a harmless placebo, which I'm not against. This other thing seems pushy, and I don't like that they have honed in on my friend's bereavement (although it is very possible her other friend truly believes she can help).
