I'm home alone and I have a confession to make....

I like listening to Céline Dion. There I've said it.
I might even shut the curtains and mime a power ballad.
Please come share your guilty pleasures which surface when no witnesses exist, surely I'm not alone?

Often when I’m home alone, I have what I like to call a Bedroom (or Kitchen) Party.

I dance and sing and I don’t care :)

I’m a big fan of kitchen concerts too! I love dancing around to BeeGees Saturday Night Fever soundtrack when I’m cooking, but only when I’m on my own. 😳

As soon as the house is empty real housewives goes on the TV. I don't care which franchise, I watch them all.

I do this with 'Say yes to the dress' . Only the American ones . The British ones are awful.

I do the cleaning naked or just in my knickers especially if its a dirty (i mean dirt as in cleaning the house not in any other sense!) job! eg if I have to use bleach etc.
And only if i am the only person in the house. I try to remember to draw all the curtains first....

I'm eating thickly buttered mouldy loaf (or malt loaf as it's more traditionally known) while swinging in the hammock in the garden. I have some dappled shade and a lovely breeze and Mr Brightside is playing on loop.

DP and I both have a secret love of Cliff Richard “Wired for Sound.” So if one of us is alone anywhere - home, driving car - and it comes on the radio, we do a massive singalong and have to text each other that we’ve just done it.

I'm not a massive fan of Celine but whenever I stand in front of my oven and the fan blows my hair, I find myself singing 'My Heart Will Go On'.

I do love a power ballad now and then. 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' and 'Alone' are favourites.

The ultimate has got to be 'Edge of Seventeen' by Stevie Nicks. Such emotion! Such power!

I have been known to hunt out Pride and Prejudice (Colin Firth version obvs) and watch it from episode 3 to the end. "Had you behaved in a more gentleman-like manner"
