Yeo Valley block of butter is 200g

Picked one up at the supermarket then when I got home noticed the block of butter is 200g! Isn't butter always 250g? Thought the price looked good.

Just had a look on Ocado and the reviewers are moaning about it on there too so at least it's not just me.

What sort of size pack is 200g?! Really annoys me when companies do this sneak shrinkage. Quaker muesli oats did it too (and now you can't even get it any more) Angry

The tea bags I use used to have 100 in each pack. Now it's only 80. I only noticed when I realised they fit more easily into my tea bag container.

Calippo mini ice lollies used to have 6 in a box. It’s now 5 and the price has increased (in the supermarket near me, anyway).

They've done the same with Simple soap. I've been using it for 18 years ever since I switched from Dove which irritated the kids' skin. The bar used to be a convex shape, it's now hugely cut into a concave shape on one side and not only is it much smaller but it's bloody awkward to hold and use, I'm always dropping it now. It's really annoyed me I'd rather pay a bit more for the same product.

Aussie shampoo bottles have also shrunk!

What does my head in is tins of tuna.

They used to be 180g. Now the biggest ones are 145g.

Where are you finding 145g? I can only seem to get 110g.

I do remember when you could buy a tall tin of 400g and a small was 200g.

A lot of butter brands have been shrinkflated! Kerrygold is still the same size but you can't find it everywhere.

Yeah! Tall tins. Forgot those!

Sainsbury sell 145g.

Big tins used to cost about 90p!
