Hcgb level high and PAPP A low 1 in 17 chance of down syndrome

I am a 39 year old and at my 12 week dating scan everything seemed OK, the sonagrapher said everything looked good. I had the blood test to check for down syndrome, Edwards syndrome and patau's syndrome. Got a phone call 2 days later and the midwife said that I was at high risk for down syndrome 1 in 17 for exact. I just felt so overwhelmed and sad. She gave me choices and I picked the NIPT test as it's not invassive and 99 percent accurate. The reason is my hcgb level is high and PAPPA A is low the stats are
hCGb. 4.96 Corr MoM
NT 1.4mm 0.97 MoM
PAPPA -A 0.55 Corr MoM

So I am very worried about this. Can anyone tell me if anything can obscure the results for example epilepsy medication or a urine infection. I have been sick once or twice a day and still going strong with it just like I was with my daughter. I was sick untill i had her due to PPROMS at 33 weeks. Please can anyone tell me there outcomes from a similar stats.

I can’t, but I’ll give you a hopeful bump and a hand hold.

Sorry you're having such a stressful time, I think you need your midwife or doctor to talk through the results with you and options for further tests if this one is not definite.

Thankyou all I've just got a call from hospital and my NIPT results have come back and I'm low risk for all including down syndrome. They are going to to a check on the heart and measure limbs at 20 weeks scan but she said 99 percent is a good result and more reliable than the standard one. I know its not 100 percent certain but I feel less worried now.
