Changes in ability to estimate the time when you wake in the night

Hi there, wondering about something very trivial. I used to be good at knowing what time it was when I woke in the night, but I've got worse at it lately. I'm 59. Wondering if it's a side effect of ageing? Had anyone noticed this?

That's so weird. I'm the same age as you and this has happened to me a few nights running. I was 3 hours out today!
I'm putting it down to the darker mornings/change in season and the fact that my routines are out of order and hoping that I am not going to become a geriatric night owl 🦉

This is interesting. I’m 53 and can usually tell almost exactly; same during the day. I just never lose track of time; all my family comment on it.

It’s an ability I’d hate to lose!
