Fundraising stall ideas

Sorry to bring up Christmas but I've agreed to run a stall for a charity I volunteer for, at my local Christmas lights switch on event. It attracts a large crowd and there's usually a plethora of charity stalls there doing different things. Tombolas, raffles etc.

Anyway, wondering if anyone has done something similar and got any good ideas for fund raising? I could go with the usual staples such as a lucky dip but I was thinking that if I had something a bit more original it might draw in more people.

Thanks!

People mooch around craft stalls but will usually spend if it's pet related!

Cat and dog themed decorated baubles.

Flego minifigures, fidget pop type toys . Buy from toys for a pound for a £1 and sell for £2/3

Desert sand? You fill plastic (could be reusable if it bothers you) cups with a coin or small prize at the bottom then play sand to hide the contents. People pay eg 50p to empty a cup and keep the prize. You can add sieves/archaeology type tools for additional appeal to kids. Some prizes will be worth more than the entry cost like a £1 or £2 coin but essentially most are copper coins or tat that you collected in the run up. It's not a huge money spinner but quite good fun.

round here those light up toys go well, like mini unicorns/dinosaurs torches with flashing coloured lights. Fidget toys too, and as someone said, dog/cat items do very well.

My mum used to do a stall of home-made Christmas decorations - which were always Smarties mini cartons wrapped in shiny wrapping paper and tied with curling ribbon (with a few curls) to form a loop so they hung from the tree. We would sit and wrap loads in the run up to Christmas. They cost about 20p each so if you sell them for 30p you’ll make a bit of profit and they look so pretty hung on a branch or fake tree with fairy lights.

Reindeer food?

you could do acorn decorations, just tie together a couple of acorn with ribbon, maybe a bit of glitter.

What’s the charity? Do they have an emblem like a flower that you could sell those flower seeds?

guess the sweeties in a jar.

guess the bears birthday.

Would you rather sell things or do raffle type stuff?

Water or wine stall. Save some screw top wine bottles, fill with water and put them in bottle gift bags. Put some real wine bottles in gift bags. Mix them up. £3-4 a go and people could win a bottle of wine or lose and get the water.

Teddy bear raffle. Costco sell the huge (5ft ish) Hugfun teddy bears. Was about £39 when I last bought one.

Anything involving plastic tat has a pearl clutching reaction from most parents round here.
Decorate a gingerbread man is a good one. White icing sugar and a tonne of decorations. (paperbags to take them home in)
Dayglo tattoos are popular (thermos of hot water needed and towels)
