Do Age Concern or similar offer help with sorting stuff for elderly people?

Need to put an elderly person in contacy with someone who can help with bills, paperwork etc. They have no family or friends to help. For instance energy provider sent letter saying they are going paperless and they should set up an email account blah, blah etc.

There's other things too and I think they need someone to help ongoing. Do Age Concern or similar offer a service with someone local?

Age uk might be a starting point, the local branch may run a befriending scheme or support via a daycentre. Otherwise try adult social care. If the person is vulnerable this can be registered with bank, utilty companies, council etc and there will be a policy to ensure their services are made accessible.

Contact Age UK - or your local one.
Some local ones may have such a service or they will know organisations in an area that can do such a service.

It's so hard with everything going online now.

Can ask GP practice to arrange call/visit from a social prescribing link worker if they have one.
