Thinnest of thin pillow recommendations

I’ve slept with a moderately thin pillow for years, from Dunelm, but recently even this is giving me neck ache. Any recommendations for thin pillows so I can get a good night’s sleep? Waking up exhausted 😢

Thank you, and my family thanks you too, so they don’t see me start yawning at 7pm!

I got the cheapest ikea one for my toddler DS because I wanted a low one.

Think it might have been one of the ones you buy rolled up. It flattens down to literally nothing.

does the filling make any difference to you?

I’ve just gone out and attempted to buy the opposite of what you’re looking for! As I prefer a very firm pillow. In your shoes I think I would just buy those ‘basic value’ lowest priced Argos/Ikea every day pillows that are about £6/7 for a pair. Chuck some heavy books on top of it for 48hrs before you use it and it should be pancake flat in no time.

Just don’t use one?

I need a thin pillow, I find cheap Wilko ones are ok, better after a few weeks of being laid on.

When I stay in hotels I hate the pillows, I always ask Reception if I can have the flattest pillow available, sometimes I get one and sometimes I don't.

I was a Turkey in the summer and I asked at Reception for a flat pillow. When I got back to my room there were eight new pillows but all absolutely huge!
I couldn't sleep on them comfortably so I used my nail scissors to make a hole in the seam and then I took 3/4 of the filling out. Worked a treat. At the end of the holiday I re stuffed the pillow and sewed up the hole Grin

Thanks everyone! I think getting cheapy pillows and then taking some stuffing out is the way to go. I tried sleeping without one but that didn’t quite work either. Flattening is genius, will try! I guess I did wonder if there was a specialist thin pillow, even a thin memory foam one, but I guess not.

My panda life do a kids memory foam pillow. It's pretty thin.

Do you know, I’m actually starting to wonder if I need a new mattress! It’s a memory foam one and about 8 years old. I’m thinking it’s maybe the culprit!
