A bit obscure but Any Engineers/Drafters/Calligraphers/Aged Architects About?

I know this is a bit obscure as most people these days use computers but holding out hope....

I'm clueless looking for recommendations for a smallish (A3 ideally or smaller) portable parallel drawing board with an adjustable angle. This type of thing:

I really just want it to rule parallel lines and lines at right angles to each other for very precise drafting.

So the most important thing is that the parallel ruler is accurate and stays parallel at at right angles to the vertical and locked in place.

I don't know much about this but I understand that this can be a big issue with the mechanisms that hold the ruler parallel failing, moving askew or breaking/ coming detached.

Has anyone got a board they would recommend that is accurate and reliable from the fixings point of view?

Hang on I remember those. Actually I have a timber drawing board t square and adjustable set square I use occasionally but it's hardly portable. Do you need to be able to literally carry it or just put it away?

thanks both @NotMeNoNo yes I do need to be able to carry it - take on trains etc.

I'm really looking for a specific recommendation as to reliability from someone who has one that they like and can say is accurate and stays accurate.

. I've had a look at Cass Art, London Graphic Centre, Google and so on but I know that these products can generally be a bit unreliable if you get the wrong one because the locking mechanism doesn't stay locked or because the mechanism to hold the ruler parallel goes awry.

I need to draw absolutely parallel lines and ones that are at 100% accurate right angles.

anyone got a small one they like/would recommend?

I would think the Blundell Harling board with the wire type parallel motion would be more reliable than the plastic rulers that seen to slide on the board edges. But you would need a separate set square. We used to have a table top board like that at work but I haven't seen it in about 20 years.

If it's very small pages would one of those rolling rulers do the job?
I'm sure someone with more recent experience will be able to advise.
