Has anyone else noticed?
I just had really disappointing cereal that tasted like semi skimmed milk was used.

I really like the milk like Duchy organic which has the cream at the top but DH prefers the bog standard supermarket milk so I buy both. He says the expensive milk is too yellow, it is a slightly creamier colour

It's a little worrying how some posters have suggested raw or un pasteurised milk. Please, please do not drink raw milk. You can contract listeria or any manner of nasty things.

Jersey milk is very creamy. The pasteurised sort...

You could get listeria, E. coli or salmonella but chances are minute. Raw milk is fine.

I'm not suggesting the milk hasn't changed, but could the lack of clinging to the cereal be a result of the cereal formulation having been altered?

If the milk tastes different in other things or on its own, then it's the milk too, but if it's mainly how it reacts with the cereal it may be that the cereal is using slightly different (cheaper?) ingredients or processes that are changing its texture/clinginess.

I find a lot of foods I'm looking forward to are disappointingly different nowadays, I assume because of cost-cutting, etc.

No its the milk, even by itself its just thinner.

Interesting that wetter weather gives thinner milk.
