US recipes: Kosher Salt?

What does this translate to for U.K. shoppers? Is it rock salt?

Sea salt, or flake salt. Anything with a slightly larger grain. Rock salt would be too heavy I’d think.

Kosher salt is always rock salt, and lower in impurities which makes it most effective for kashering meat and for brining in traditional Jewish cuisine.
