Anyone up to much? I’m just trying to cool down as I feel permanently hot ( thanks menopause!) Arranging an HRT review as have been struggling for a while. DH is about to clean his bike & I might pop to the shop for some wine. We were going to have chocolate chilli for tea but DH will make it tomorrow so I’m doing Cathedral City lasagne & peas instead. Probably watch Greys Anatomy later as we both really enjoy it & there aren’t many programmes that appeal to both of us. DD14 is lurking in her room as per. She had Macci D’s earlier with her girlfriend. I watched some Harry Enfield videos yesterday of Kevin The Teenager & my goodness he had it spot on! We secretly call DD “ Kevina” 🤣

Kevina! I love that, I have a 17 yo DS Kevin hear with girlfriend in tow... who seems to be a permanent fixture in my house 🙄so feeding 2 of them.

We have had a pretty chilled weekend (after calling a 'truce') on discussing next steps at college... I am dreading re-opening the discussion later as a decision needs to be made.

DS failed Maths and English at school last year and has just had the results from his resits on Thursday. He passed his Maths but not English. Never the less this has still opened a door which was closed to him 12 months ago. I'm going to create a separate thread for advice as he is refusing to see the huge opportunity as he is choosing his friends over his education (I know this is a common issue) but it is so very frustrating!

Despite this everything was swept under the carpet from Thursday to today and we got a takeaway last night after I'd taken him shopping with a gift voucher I'd given him as a congratulations present on his Maths pass.

Now obviously he and the girlfriend are still asleep!

Husband has gone back to bed

Going to start packing later for vegas trip

Have been to the gym and had a lovely time. This is important as I have always struggled with exercise and am about 3 stone overweight so the fact that I enjoyed myself is game changer territory for me.

Am about to drag dh round various supermarkets (I like Lidl yoghurt, he wants Waitrose bread).

Mum coming for lunch then maybe walk if rain holds off.

Dds both fast asleep. One in the sofa for no good reason we can fathom, she'd migrated there between us leaving for the gym and coming back.... I suspect minimal activity from either tbh.
