Does anyone find Gousto portions to be small?

Or are we just over eaters?! There was a recipe with chips the other night, and the potatoes included maybe gave us 7 chips each.

My H F came with meat wrapped in wool insulation and 5 ice packs which were still 50.percent frozen. The dates varied and one lasted until today (delivery last Monday).

I also check dates and freeze if they are likely to be an issue

I thought the portions were very small when I tried Gousto but the main reason I didn't continue after my trial box was the quality of the ingredients, which I thought was really poor. It also took ages sorting out all the little packets of things and I think it's much quicker and easier to make similar recipes yourself , and then you can be in control of the quality of the ingredients. I tried Hello Fresh at about the same time last year as well, and thought their meals were just as bad.

Just got our first box, it's for 3, honestly, the portion sizes of all 3 would just serve one in our home. We are not over weight or anything, but blimey, one meal for 3 had ONE spring onion....

We thought the Gousto portions were just right. We had the box for 2 people. We tried it for a few months but gave up because we couldn't bear the overpackaging, especially when 9 times out of 10 we had the ingredients anyway.

We loved the recipes.
