Not only did he leave his post with a £1.5 million pension pot but it’s now been announced he’s started a new position at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead.

Watching the BBC doc simultaneous to this discovery and just feeling incensed.

Agree. Scandalous.

CEOs do move from organisation to organisation, yes but not usual for them to have employed a serial killer, killing their service users.

He was told. He refuted it. He covered it up.

This. He should be jail. Anyone industry he would be prosecuted for corporate manslaughter.

AvocadotoastORahouse · 22/08/2023 20:02

He's absolute scum - more concerned with the hospital's reputation and PR than the babies lives.
They all need investigating and charges brought - him, Harvey, Alison Kelly and that stupid bitch Karen Moore/Rees who let Letty back on the ward where she tried to kill the third triplet.

Tony chambers is the real killer

I heard on one programme somebody saying the executives in charge of the decisions concerning Lucy Letby could be prosecuted for Corporate manslaughter. I certainly think they should face criminal action.

I agree. They should be facing criminal charges.
Plus they should never be employed within any hospital ever again.

The culprit has been found guilty. The whole context of the situation now needs investigating in a public enquiry. Until then we know nothing for certain. Im disappointed NHS staff have been interviewed on TV before they have been interviewed by the enquiry team.

HermioneWeasley · 22/08/2023 23:08

Did he know about the allegations and how they weee handled?

Maybe they’re concerned the inquiry will be yet another whitewash? It’s not even going to be a statutory inquiry, which just about says it all, doesn’t it?

Now is the right time for them to speak up and I think they should be applauded for doing so. They’re incredibly brave.

Pizzapie22 · 22/08/2023 23:13

Should they all be investigated including the doctors? If you thought that a nurse was murder if babies wouldn’t you go to the police even if it meant putting your career at risk? Would the GMC really strike off a group of very concerned Doctors for whistleblowing? It’s not like they were junior Doctors they were highly experienced and more than one of them by the sounds of things was concerned.

Tony chambers is the real killer

what? The Killer was Lucy Letby.
He did very very wrong and the NICU Matron too keeping Lucy Letby next to patients but they did not killed those babies. I guess they never thought she could be a killer.
Don't forget we are talking about real people with real families who might be reading this..

Hazelhaze · 23/08/2023 19:27

That Tony chambers needs his butt up on trial with that monster Lucy..... Had that nurse had been been A POC he would have definitely investigated.... I’m shocked beyond words that you have a doctor on shift coming to the CEOs with concerns about sudden deaths about babies and you just ignore it.... lock him up too!

nobodysdaughternow · 23/08/2023 19:40

I suspect Tony Chambers and the other useless, negligent piece of shit who stood up for LL and allowed her to kill again were both hoping to get their leg over.

I am still reeling after finding out TC allowed LL's parents to come to a tribunal. She was an adult ffs.

Everyone around her, treated her like a vulnerable baby. Grimly ironic.

Hazelhaze · 23/08/2023 19:55

He is a bloody killer how on earth can you disregard concerns of some suspicious activity going on with helpless newborn babies just because you “ doubted that LL would do such thing No matter what or who the f they are it should of been standard protocol to look into it then if they find nothing then you apologise, not disregard what the doctors suspected and without even looking into it demand they apologise to that WITCH there is NO excuse that Tony chambers needs to been thrown In JAIL!

And here ladies and gents we have the reason for strict safeguarding. 'Management says she doesn't look like a killer' just doesn't work does it now. Opinion doesn't come into it, you follow the unbiased procedure.

GreenClock · 24/08/2023 20:24

He’ll have his opportunity to defend himself when the enquiry gets underway. Until then, he’ll have to put up with accusations of incompetence, and suggestions that he was romantically interested in LL. The buck stopped with him, after all, and he did not act. He will have to explain why.

Why the heck would any other trust want him working for them? The only conclusion I can come to is they want someone who’s good at covering stuff up.

yes and so, everybody still venerates this organisation
